This guide gets you set up and ready to use the Datamagnet API. It covers how to get started with an API client, how to make your first API request, and where to go next to take full advantage of the REST API.

Before you can make requests to the Datamagnet API, grab your API key from the dashboard under Dashboard → API keys.

Making your first API request

Once you have your API key, you’re ready to make your first call to the Datamagnet API. The example below sends a POST request to the People endpoint to fetch a complete LinkedIn profile from a LinkedIn people URL.
